January twenty second, two thousand and seventeen.

I went to the church I went to so often last year for the first time in months, and we, a group of gentle Quakers,  marched quietly around Newberg, (quite a contrast to two days ago,) declaring welcome for our neighbors – being surrounded by familiar faces can be disorienting, and it can be comforting too.
